Clifford E. "Cliff"
Cormany, Jr., the President of Investigative & Polygraph
Group, Inc. (IPG), received a B.S. in Business Administration from
Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama, and served as a Special Agent
with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for 26 years. His
assignments included FBI Headquarters in Washington, D. C.,
Albany, New York, Syracuse, New York, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,
New Orleans, Louisiana and Atlanta, Georgia. Over the years, Cliff
had investigative experience in most criminal matters under the
FBI’s jurisdiction, but his specialty for many years was in
organized crime investigations, and he served as the organized
crime coordinator in major FBI field divisions. Cliff was assigned
to various special operations and investigations, including public
corruption matters, kidnapping, terrorism and major narcotics
investigations. Cliff had extensive experience in FBI undercover
operations, including a major public corruption undercover
operation which resulted in the prosecutions and convictions of
numerous public officials, and a landmark decision by the United
States Supreme Court relating to the Federal Hobbs Act Extortion
Statute. For six years prior to his retirement from the FBI, Cliff
was the Polygraph Coordinator for the FBI’s Atlanta division.

Marc E.
Foster received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the
University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri, and later served as
a Special Agent with the FBI for 20 years, eight of which were
served as a supervisory Special Agent. Prior to entering the FBI,
Marc was a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service (USSS)
for six years, and before joining IPG, he served as a
counterintelligence officer at Sandia National Laboratories in
Albuquerque, New Mexico. While with the USSS, Marc investigated U.
S. Government check and bond forgery, counterfeiting of U. S.
currency, and was trained and assigned to the physical protection
of USSS protectees. Marc served as a Special Agent with the FBI in
Chicago, Illinois and Houston, Texas before being assigned as a
supervisor in FBI Headquarters in Washington, D. C. in charge of
foreign counterintelligence matters nationwide. Marc was
subsequently assigned as the supervisor of counterterrorism and
foreign counterintelligence investigations in the FBI’s Atlanta
field division, and in that role he supervised counterterrorism
operations for a three year period prior to the 1996 Summer
Olympic games and served as the Intelligence Supervisor in the
Olympic Crisis Management Center. In connection with his foreign
counterintelligence responsibilities, Marc received training in
Monterey, California in basic and intermediate Chinese-Mandarin
language courses. Prior to his retirement, Marc served as the
Polygraph Coordinator for the FBI’s Atlanta, Georgia and
Louisville, Kentucky divisions.

Harry
J. Grogan received a B. S. in Education from State University of
New York College of Education at Cortland, New York. Harry served
with the United States Marine Corps for three years, attaining the
rank of Captain prior to his 29 year career as a Special Agent
with the FBI. Harry spent much of his career in New York State
investigating most investigative matters under the FBI’s
jurisdiction. Harry had specific training in foreign
counterintelligence, surveillance techniques, violent crimes, bank
robberies, crimes on government reservations, hostage matters and
civil rights violations. Harry was also trained in firearms,
improvised explosive devices and recognition and deadly force
training and liability. He served the FBI as a firearms instructor
and on the FBI’s Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams. Harry
is in charge of the extensive database resources of Investigative
and Polygraph Group, Inc.

Walton
G. "Walt" Jones received a B. S. in Education from the University of
Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky which he attended under a
football scholarship. Walt served as a Special Agent with the FBI
for 25 years, most of which was spent in the FBI’s Louisville,
Kentucky division. Walt had extensive investigative experience in
most matters under the FBI’s jurisdiction, including both
criminal and foreign counterintelligence matters. Walt was also
trained by the FBI in Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT). Walt
served as the Polygraph Coordinator for the FBI’s Louisville
division for many years prior to his retirement.

Richard
W. "Dick" Keifer was an officer in the United States Navy prior to
entering the FBI where he served 26 years as a Special Agent.
During Dick’s career with the FBI, he was assigned to Tampa,
Florida, New York City, Orlando, Florida and at FBI Headquarters
in Washington, D. C. While Dick had extensive experience in most
matters under the FBI’s jurisdiction, much of his career was
devoted to polygraph matters. Dick not only worked as the
Polygraph Coordinator in FBI field divisions, he served as the
National Polygraph Program Coordinator at FBI Headquarters, as a
supervisor at FBI Headquarters and as the FBI’s Foreign
Intelligence Program Manager. Dick is a nationally recognized
speaker in chart evaluation and is Chairman of the Board of
Directors of the American Polygraph Association. Dick received a
B. S. in Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an
M.S. in Education at the University of Virginia.

Arthur
G. "Jerry" Richards, Jr. received a B. S. in Liberal Arts from Clemson
University in Clemson, South Carolina, and an M. S. in
Administration of Justice from California Lutheran University in
Thousand Oaks, California. Jerry served as a Captain in the United
States Army prior to entering the FBI where he spent almost 30
years as a Special Agent assigned to FBI field divisions in Omaha,
Nebraska, Los Angeles, California and Knoxville, Tennessee. During
his years as an FBI agent, Jerry investigated most matters under
the FBI’s jurisdiction and received specialized training in
labor matters, drug investigations, behavioral science, electronic
surveillance, bank fraud and embezzlement, Special Weapons and
Tactics (SWAT), EEO investigations, applicant selection, public
corruption, sex crimes and white collar crime matters. Jerry
served as the Polygraph Coordinator for the FBI’s Knoxville,
Tennessee division for many years prior to his retirement in 1998.
Prior to entering the private sector, Jerry was appointed Deputy
Director in Tennessee for the Appalachia High Intensity Drug
Trafficking Area, a program of the United States Department of
Justice.
